Articles - God

Where is God?

Who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. (1 Pet. 1:21)

That's a good question! Is God really beyond this endless universe, this endless void of space? Does God really live in a realm of clouds or maybe a place of sunshine and flowers? Once upon a while ago I would have sniggered at anyone who believed that God lived in such places - hahaha, but today I would say that God can be anywhere we want because He is everywhere and in everything.

What does that mean? How can God be everywhere and in everything if He lives in Heaven which is beyond the universe and space?

We have already determined in our article titled 'What or Who is God', that He / She is a Spirit, an energy force without a physical body and as such, is quite capable of being everywhere and in everything, however, the Bible says that the Spirit of God dwells in us -

John 14:17 - [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Romans 8:9 - But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

What do you, dear readers think?

Peace and Light

About Amelia Robinson

I am the second eldest of five (all girls), and spent most of my growing years on an Orchard, where my father worked. I always felt alone and try as I might, could never seem to find a relationship where I could give my love completely and not get hurt, until I had my children. My aunty once told me that I brought my kids up right because they love and that was the highest compliment anyone could say to me. Still floundering from relationship to relationship in search of 'true love', it wasn't until quite recently that I finally stumbled upon it - love for myself - in all its entirety ... more
